First Day of Pycon
It's my first time attending pycon and so far it has met or exceeded my expectations. It's been fun meeting new people and hearing stories about different usage patterns for python. However, the thing that has struck me most has been the sense of community. Unlike some of the other conferences I've attended in the past, this conference doesn't seem to have a bunch of programmers trying to show how badass they are. Instead, everyone seems genuine and wants to hear about the projects one is working on.
